The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results are scheduled for release at the end of this month, a strategic move aimed at facilitating secondary school placements before the Christmas holiday. This accelerated release is intended to provide parents with ample time to prepare for school fees, especially given the challenging economic conditions characterized by a rising cost of living.
Dr. Belio Kipsang, the Principal Secretary for Basic Education, has verified the ongoing marking process of the KCPE exams, with the results expected in the coming weeks. During a visit to Naivasha Girls Secondary School, Dr. Kipsang commended head teachers for their committed efforts in overseeing the national exams.

"We anticipate an early release of the results to ensure a smooth placement of students into Form One before Christmas, allowing parents sufficient time for preparations," stated Dr. Kipsang.
Addressing concerns about reported malpractices during the ongoing KCSE exams, Dr. Kipsang downplayed the significance of such incidents in various secondary schools. He emphasized that only seven center managers have been suspended, attributing the low incidence of cheating to precautionary measures such as the twice-daily collection of exam papers and collaborative support from the Ministries of Interior and ICT.
